When you login to AMSHub for the first time you will have very little data since your facility is brand new to the Hub. To get started, you’ll begin adding some basic information about your facility so you can begin running your facility with AMSHub. Our Setup Checklist feature will help you understand the most important items that need to be completed to get up and running quickly. Follow the links in the checklist to complete the tasks. Below is a quick video covering some of the tasks needed followed by some additional details on some of the tasks you’ll complete during setup.
Verify Contact Details
Review your shipping and mailing address(es) and key contact personnel. Go to Settings > Facility Settings and review all pertinent details.
Please note this area is only accessible to Admins.
Configure Facility Details
Add Providers
You’ll track procedures and item usage in relation to the providers in your facility. Go to Settings > Providers and use the Add Provider button to add the necessary personnel. If you have a provider currently not active in the facility you can mark them as inactive and activate them any time in the future.
Add Personnel
Some procedure types have the option of selecting the Tech(s) and Nurse(s) that assisted in the procedure. To maintain the list of Personnel at your facility go to Settings > Personnel and use the Add Personnel button. If you have any personnel currently not active in the facility you can mark them as inactive and activate them any time in the future.
Select Procedure Types
Use Settings > Procedure Types to select the procedures you perform at your facility. Only those you check will be included in lists in other areas of the site.
Create Users
Use Settings > AMSHub Users to create new user accounts for delegating day-to-day operational tasks to other staff members to enter data, manage items, etc.
Add Inventory
If you’re an existing facility you’ll need to upload all of your existing inventory to AMSHub. To facilitate this, we’ve built a tool specifically to help streamline the process of getting all of your existing inventory into the system using a bulk scanning and importing process.
