For any staff that you want to be able to login and do work within AMSHub, you’ll add them as AMSHub Users.
To add a new user:
- Select Settings > AMSHub Users from the left navigation menu
- Click the Add User button
- Provide the user’s first and last name and email address
- Select the user’s role and Save. Note that users can only create other users with roles at or beneath their current permission level.
- If you have multiple facilities in your group, see Multi-facility User Access below to grant the user access
- The User will receive an email with instructions to complete their account setup process and login to AMSHub
- An account will be automatically set as active, meaning a new user will have immediate access to the system. If you want to put the data in the system but not yet let them login, you can set their status to inactive. In this case you would need to go back to AMSHub Users, click on their name from the list, edit their Status to Inactive from the drop down and then hit Update.
- If you would like to override your users’ standard roles regarding pricing, you will find and click on the users’ name from the list of AMSHub Users, click on the red edit button and check the box next to Hide Pricing. Selecting this for users will turn off pricing from most of their standard views.
Multi-facility User Access
If you have multiple locations joined as a Group within AMSHub, you’ll have the option to grant users access to those locations as needed. You just want to ensure you only add each user to AMSHub once and then follow the directions provided here to add them to other facility locations.
Configure A Multi-facility User
To grant a user access to additional facilities, go to Settings > AMSHub Users and select the user to edit. On the user edit page the various facilities in your group will be listed. The facility in which you created the user will be selected already and tagged as Primary. Select the checkbox for any other facility you want to grant access to and Update. Users with access to multiple locations will be prompted to choose a location when they login and can switch locations during each session to ensure they can effectively work at all facilities with a single login.
