The vast majority of the time, you will create an Order and use Delivery to scan items into inventory, but we recognize there are times where this isn’t the case. If you receive a new item you will need to add that item to your current inventory. If this is an item you have previously used, you will just edit that item in your current inventory vs adding a new item from the Global Catalog. This will most likely occur with trunk stock items provided by a rep.
On the main Inventory screen, select the item number of the new item you want to add, from your existing list of inventory items. You will then select Edit, at the top left of the item detail screen. Then select the Add button and a pop-up window will appear.
If the item you are adding is part of a pending order you will get a message to either deliver the item as part of an existing order or to continue to add the item manually.
If this item is not part of an existing, pending order you will then need to select either Purchased Items or Free Items. In most cases you will select Purchased Items and will then be prompted to enter a PO number, if you have one, or allow AMSHub to assign one. Once you have finished that step, you will be able to scan and save your item(s) into your inventory.
