Procedure Teams

If your facility has a consistent team of Provider+Tech(s)+Nurse(s), creating Procedure Teams will make inputting Procedure data even easier. You can create a Procedure team based on a provider. When that provider is selected as part of a new procedure, their accompanying Techs and Nurses you have configured will automatically be selected and pre-populated on the new Procedure form. You can make changes if needed, but for consistent staff groups, this is a great shortcut to populating new procedure data.

To configure, go to Settings > Providers and select the provider you want to configure. Then, click on the Care Team tab and select the appropriate team members that you want to have AMSHub automatically add to each procedure that provider does . When you assign that provider to a Procedure, you will be asked if you want to apply that provider’s team or if you want to just add the provider and then can input the team that was part of that particular procedure. If you input a procedure and that provider doesn’t have a Procedure Team in place, you will see a note under the provider’s name and can click on that. You will be taken to another window where you can input the care team for that provider.
