The application workflow and terminology are designed to mirror the operational concepts of a facility. The most common way materials are added into inventory is through the receipt of deliveries in response to an Order. Every order your facility creates in AMSHub is received in the Deliveries area. This includes general information about the order, the materials ordered and their respective vendors and order quantities.
The consolidated Deliveries page includes a list panel and a detail panel: the list panel contains summary data of the orders you’ve created that are still in Pending status (unreceived), and the detail panel which shows the details for the currently selected order with the ability to scan received items. Select any order from the list panel to see the full details in the detail panel.
The list panel shows all pending orders. This includes any order that has not had all items received.
To process a delivery you’ve received, select its PO from the list panel and begin scanning the barcodes of received items. Learn more about delivering an order.
To view the items included in the order and their status (unreceived, partially received, fully received), click the PO listed at the top of the detail panel.
I Just Received an Order/Processing a Delivery
Each time a shipment arrives, you can scan received items into inventory due to an order previously placed. You can select a PO number from the list or search by a PO number in the search box that matches the PO number on the packing slip. You will then scan the items that were received to fulfill that order. Learn more about processing a delivery.
