To help make decisions about things like changing par levels, diversifying product categories, etc. the item usage reports can help provide extensive data. On the Usage Report screen, you can scan a barcode to see its usage represented for a given period of time. The default is set at 30 days, but you can also click on that box as there are a number of other date range options available. This can help you see trends in usage volume to guide decision making. You can find out specific information about a device like how, where and when it was used.
An Item Summary report can also be run to give further detail about a specific item’s use for a given period. Enter the start and end date you want to search, scan an item and the resulting data will tell you the number of procedures this item was used in.
